I know what it feels like to be a Caregiver. My husband has been very ill and in process of healing and recovering this past year. It has been traumatic, challenging, and stressful. I have learned how important my self-care is in this situation. I have always been good with self-care but realized in this situation I had to increase it significantly. If I am not emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually in balance everything becomes much more difficult with his care and caring for the household.
