The Holistic Approach
We are not one dimensional beings, we are multi-dimensional. We juggle many roles in our lives- as parents, sons/daughters, employer, employee, care-giver, teacher, and spouse/significant other. We all have many demands pulling at us. Some are placed there by others and some we place on ourselves. Usually the demands we place on ourselves are old belief systems that supported us in early stages of life but aren’t really up to date today. These behaviors are so second nature to us we don’t even notice, until we are ready to change and grow. This is how we can get stuck, we don’t know what “it” is or how to move forward. The coaching process will help you to uncover these hidden areas to help you to move forward with ease and grace in reaching your goals.
These hidden “stuck” areas could be emotional, spiritual, mental, physical or financial issues or beliefs about yourself. Many of us use our cognitive mental powers very Picturewell. Some of us like to analyze or rationalize our beliefs and choices we make in our lives– that is the mental aspect of self. The coaching process will help to uncover answers within which creates clarity, ease of decision, freedom and forward motion.
The spiritual aspect of self is that place within that feeds you, replenishes you and nurtures you. This connection to the self within is unique to everyone. Some find it through religion, prayer, meditation, yoga, being out in nature, or through art. There is no right or a wrong response here, what is important is that you cultivate this relationship with the spiritual aspect of self. During the coaching process you will connect to a deeper level within. This is where the coaching relationship facilitates unfoldment and clarity.
It is important for us to be aware of and honor our physical health. Are you stressed and exhausted? Have you had enough? Are you ready to change but don’t know how to break the cycle? As your coach, I will guide you through the process with sincere respect and empathy. We all have been there. The bravest thing you can do for yourself is to ask for and allow help to break the cycle. Together we will create the path to freedom, to restore peace, rest and joy. You will feel rejuvenated and alive by the coaching process.
Every thought triggers an emotion such as, happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, or joy. It is our job to take care of ourselves in this life. No one is here to do it for us. Managing our emotions and staying focused on what we want, is how we create forward motion. It is exciting when you decide to start a new business. It is exciting when you decide to re-enter the workforce or change careers – what growth! It can also be a little scary—how exactly do you do it? The coaching process creates momentum and accountability which allows you to reach your goals sooner and faster.
The other “aspect” of self I want to include is financial – an individuals’ belief about money and prosperity. Having money meets our basic survival needs. Finances are not exactly an aspect of self, however, in my experience it is so intertwined in our lives it deserves to be considered an aspect of self. We all have different views about money. We all have values from childhood like lack—“money is tight,” or abundance – “money is easy, it comes to me all the time.” We all deserve to have what we want which includes tons and tons of Money! Your relationship with money can be connected to your level of self-esteem and self-worth. Throughout the coaching process, you will find the coaching process empowering. You will feel your self-esteem and self-confidence grow, allowing you to be successful in living the life you seek.
During our coaching relationship, we will touch on all of these aspects of self during the process. The coaching process follows a natural flow of what you would like to talk about in each session and builds on the co-creative process of trusted coach and client. This entire process leads you to becoming your Authentic Self!
Here are some techniques that may be used during the coaching process to provide greater clarity:
Essential Oils by Young Living – Essential Oils promote healing and well being both on a physical and emotional level. I may recommend oils to you to manage day to day stress or to help promote joy, harmony, and gratitude in your life.
Muscle testing – is a method of receiving information from our body, which has much information to share with us. This is quite a remarkable yet simple process to identify beliefs which may be keeping us stuck in life. Once you determine the old belief, you can then make a new choice to create a new belief that meets your current desires.
Reiki is an energetic healing process, helpful in reducing stress and regaining balance.
Thought Field Therapy(TFT) is a technique of tapping on your meridian points (acupressure points) of the body which releases emotional triggers like anger or stress and allows you to process your situation clearly and easily.
